Caught this film on ITV 4 last night. Excellent viewing with some fine acting, especially Freddie Jones, but let down at the last by the 1980's flying sequences. Clearly models and crap ones at that, but a great film nontheless. Anyone else see it?

Clearly models and crap ones at thatYou're right. They should have used the real aircraft.

The scene with the CH-53 was pretty good...

The "flashback" thing that Gant always endures was pretty cheesy and 80s though.

You lot ought to show more respect to these types of films...after all, without them, we'd never have seen Flying High!

Maybe they could do a George Lucas & up the graphics with modern digital effects? Make the Firefox a two seater, so we can get clyde in the cockpit!!!
