I recently flew the old Air Canada 747-100 sim (now FTD) in Abbotsford. The thrust setting were, as expected, different because of the Pratt JT motors. The pitch settings were also different than the notes published on this forum - the sim required about 2 degrees more pitch than the following numbers:

280 - 2 degrees - 1.16EPR - clean
250 - 5 degrees - 1.16EPR - clean
186 - 7.5 degrees - 1.22EPR - Flap 5
176 - 7.5 degrees - 1.22EPR - Flap10
166 - 6 degrees - 1.26EPR - Flap 20 and Gear
Bug - 1.5 degrees - 1.22EPR - Flap 30, Gear, 3 degree slope

Can anyone confirm what they saw in HKG? Do these numbers work about right for a 600K airplane?

Thanks in advance,

Scratch

I just got back from HK and these numbers should work fine... If not, the difference may only be +/-.02 EPR or so. That being said, just fly the airplane with those numbers as a basis and you'll be fine.
