Just found this video of a private jet overshooting a runway in Atlantic City Municipal Airport and ending up in the bay. An eyewitness videoed the whole incident. While rescuing the passengers and putting them onto boats the plane's engine starts up. Could have been very dangerous.

Irishboy, what they are trying to tell you is that the video you posted has been done to death here.

As Jerricho says/er said; "The search function saves lives."

You'd have thought the Captain would have remembered the runway wasn't long enough after what happened last time. Some people just don't learn.

Now if only someone would post that elusive link to a 172SP, KC-135, 777, what have you, rotating off a high speed conveyor belt ******* would be complete.

I only watched because I was certain that he wouldn't make the same mistake again . . .
Even put money on it with my partner (and lost!). :ugh:

I studied this closely (about 3 months ago) when it was first posted. One can plainly see the water was very cold and the aeroplane wanted to get out quickly. It got cramp in the left undercarriage leg.

Certainly did! You'd have thought he'd at least have started his landing further back near the threshold :ugh:
