I was wondering if VB are going to bring the Jungle Jets West to compete with NJS and possibly set up a base here? The other question is, are J* going to have a base in Perth or leave the qlink to do it's thing? Would they just back off the mainline 73's and let the 320's take some fruit.

I highly doubt that JQ will set up a base in Perth anytime in the near future. In fact, I can't see any further domestic expansion. They're mainly focused on JQI now.

i doubt they would set up in the west in the short term, and I think they would need some contracts to have serious go of it. The J* replacing QLink rumour has been around for a while, possibly with smaller versions of the A320 family, the 717 leases come up in August so will be interesting to see what happens then...
