I know that the army has been talking about getting a lightweight rocket system that's more airportable than the MLRS, but surely the IPT could have come up with something more robust?

The flash to bang time on these things is pretty quick these days. I've been known to have a bit of a short fuse so if I were his boss I'd stick a rocket under him when he gets back to work.
