I am travelling to ACE in dec from LBA and was wondering do they still use the IFE in these aircraft on a 4 1/2 hour flight ?I thought not but maybe they do

Well the two Jet2 757s I went on last month certainly didn't have IFE. It looks like the IFE systems have been removed out of their 757s completely. They are nice inside however.

Bring a good book and I'm sure you will have an enjoyable flight on Jet2. :ok:

Currently one of the 757's at LBA is equipt with PTV style IFE. The IFE units are distibuted after take off and can be viewed for a nominal fee. The units are a video on demand system and have around 50 different programmes loaded on them. I think there are plans to role the system out fleet wide, but not sure when this will happen.
