Iam a CPL/IR/ME holder with very low time just out of flight school.I have long term plans of getting into Cx as DESO.Is it a good idea to apply now and keep updating as I get more experience or is it better to wait until I get the required experience before applying?Does Cx prefer guys with jet time? Are turbo prop hours e.g Dash-8 acceptable.

Thanks in advance.

Well, there seems to be no consistency in the hour requirements. My suggestion to you is to apply as soon as you meet their minimum requirements since you don't know how long it will take to get called. I am 24, have been applying for 3.5 years before I got the call. Going for 2nd interview very soon, but then again, I have heard of guys waiting anywhere from 2 weeks to 8 years before they get the call.

Get your papers in ASAP, you never know!

Good luck dude.

Never hurts to show your desire to work for CX asap.

It will go in your favour once you finally get the first interview.
