I've been residing in the U.S. for the past 10 years and my goal is to eventually get a JAA "frozen" ATPL. Will the examiners at LGW do a background check on me? Criminal reocrds, driving records? I have never even had a license in Europe nor any criminal convictions. But I do have a pretty bad driving record in the States and 2 first offense misdemeanors.... 1. At age 16 i got a battery charge (fighting) and 2. at age 19 I got busted with a fake I.D. trying to buy some alcohol. Will AME's in europe look into this? Any info and advice will be greatly appreciated.
