Dear pprune members,
It is now five years since Ansett Airlines (Australia) collapsed with the loss of about 15,000 jobs.
I am a researcher at the University of Melbourne and have been funded by the Australian Research Council (www.arc.gov.au (http://www.arc.gov.au/)) to study the labour market destinations of former Ansett Airlines employees (including crew, ground staff and office workers). I am especially interested in the reasonably high numbers of Ansett people who have moved overseas to find work. I have placed an internet survey at

It asks about the experiences of Australian aviation expats and the career impacts of the Ansett fiasco. It takes about twenty minutes to complete.
