Hi, my name is Ashley and I'm an Industrial Design student at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (http://www.siuc.edu/). We are in the process of an Airplane Redesign Project. We're focusing on passenger comfort and interaction with flight attendants.
We need to interview the cabin crew to understand their responsibilities and interaction with passengers. Your input is very important to us.
Below is the questionnaire. If any of you could fill this out, we would be very grateful.
If you prefer to email the answers, you can send them [email protected] (%[email protected]).

Thanks for your time. :)

1. How long have you been a flight attendant?

2. Do you generally fly within the U.S. or internationally?

3. What are your top 5 responsibilities as a flight attendant?

4. What are the most common requests from passengers?

5. Do you feel that passengers fully comprehend the safety instructions you provide to them before flight?

6. If not, what would be (in your opinion) a more effective way to present the information so that they comprehend it better?

7. Do you feel overwhelmed at any time during the flight with fulfilling passenger requests and your duties?

8. If yes, what types of requests or duties cause you to feel overwhelmed?

9. Would you prefer to have more or less one-on-one interaction with passengers?

10. Do you see any problem areas that need to be addressed to provide passengers with a better flight experience?

But they are one and the same thing to most people on this board!
