Last week at a small field 3hrs east of Moscow, we had our first ramp check by the Russian authorities.
Fortunately we had a russian speaking engineer on board the otherwise no russina speaking crew.
He wanted sight of all aircraft documents, and crew (captains) licence. I showed him my FAA, and he was happy. Not certain if he understood, the Austrian paperwork.
He did not want or ask for sight of pre flight paperwork, or load sheets, but we had these available.
So fellow aviators, improve your Russian language skills.
