Thinking about moving down to Stanley and was wondering what the commute time to the airport would be. Also after info on what the public transport like after hours. eg middle of the night.

Thanks in advance

Bus/MTR (Airport Express) about 1-1:15 hour depending on traffic.

During the night, take a cab for $300 if you negotiate!

Try a google of buses Hong Kong and you'll find that most stop around midnight or 1am. You may find an odd one that links in with an interchange through the night but it will not be that regular.

If you go for Stanley, which is very popular amongst workers in Central Hong Kong, perhaps it would be better to wait until you are on line before you move. A daily commute during training would be too much.

For transport I suggest budgeting for an airport "hack" car, around HK$50,000 to 70,000 and free yourself from public transport.
