Hi all,

Am looking for a good web site which shows a good selection of Jinxes (Think that's the right name) You know the type of thing Girlies painted on the side of Aircraft. I have done a few searches with not much luck.. Probably my Web skills!! Even done a wee bit of a search on Airliners.net to no avail

Hope you guys can help?

PS Forces Rock!!

:ok:

Try searching again for "nose art". That's it's more well known title, I've not heard of them being called "jinxes".

A quick google search for nose art just turned up dozens of sites.

http://www.nose-art.net/ looks like a good one.

Have fun.

"Bomber girls" I think is the correct term ;)

TRY googling Yorkshire Air Museum for Friday the 13th Halifax bomber, you may see nose art. But jinxed ? It carried out over 100 ops. It also shows a horse shoe upside down (all the good luck drops out we were told when we were young)
