WRC and Formula 1 Jets

I'm curious if anyone out there flies for any of the formula one teams, drivers or even the World Rally championship teams etc. I'd imagine that they'd have thier own jets and pilots instead of hiring from a company?

If any of you lucky sods do fall into this category, how the heck did you get the position? luck?

I also wonder if you travel around with the teams, get passes to the events etc?

I can't name names, but NetJets has a few drivers on the books. I understand there were some free tickets to the A1 GP last year.

seems like it is definately for a single man, would be cool for a while no doubt. Especially if you were into the racing stuff etc. But I can imagine it getting old, espec if you get dicked around all the time.

Met a guy once who flew Mikka Hakkinen's MU2. He spent most of the year living in Monte Carlo flying Mikka to races, and only got to see his family in Germany during the closed season.
