Hi,

NEastMidlands

What date are you outbound to Male?

TANGO100

MyTravel are putting millions in to their web product, hence the new navigation layout throughout the groups websites (phase 2) which went live in July. Phase 3, which will include improved content for resort, hotel and destination information will comprise of video's, virtual tours and interactive maps and goes live this month. Video's are currently only available on China and Maldives holidays.

MyTravel are also investing in technology for customers to book via their mobile phones and an auction site is a future development.

Hi,

Haven't found a type for MLE but the MBA is an A330-200.

Will be back with MLE soon!

Wrong on both counts Tommie Cook. Man- Mle is on 767 on a Sun and Lgw - Mba is also on 767 on Mon night. Now premier in the 76's and they look smart so upgrade is avail.
Enjoy.

Thank you both.
I'll think about the upgrade - I would deffo want a premium on way out from LGW to MBA as it's a night flight and as my b'friends mother booked him on different flight ( something tells me she doesn't like me :oh: ) I face about 6 hours wait around the airport before even but departing but that's another story

On my way back I'm not too bothered as it's day flight - can live with that- a good book and a chat with CC is always nice.

So far CS at MYT advised that one way upgrade not available    so will have to rethink my crimbo budget if I want a proper upgrade. Does anyone know why one way upgardes not avail or am I asking a stupid question here and embarrasing myself again?:O

When you check in for your flight ask if there are any upgrades available. If there are you can purchase them one way. Better to get there early though.

The CS has got it wrong they are approx £100 one way if any left over. They might also be doing 24hr check-in as well so check that out to. Have you phoned the MYT pre-bookables department and asked if you can purchase it one way?

Thanks for your quick reply.

I have indeed called the CS number provided on my invoice which is from Airtours / My Travel.
When I asked about one way upgarde the lady advised it was not possible and I can have proper one for £199.00 or leave it :ooh:

So I left it for now :O

I'll try again and let you know how I go.

many many thank you's for all your advice so far.

Hi,

No tour operator will sell one-way upgrades until you check-in as they obviously want to sell them return. CSR are check-in will always offer them where available. They will be about £99 OW. They will also be available to book in resort if you require them coming home. Premiair Gold service is superb and well worth the money. On overnight legs the crew tend to not keep asking if you would like drinks as they like to allow you to sleep so just ask if you need anything.

Make sure that you turn left when you board the MYT 767 at 2 door left. The Y cabin that sits aft of PG has more legroom than the Y cabin aft of 2 doors.:ok:

Hi there,

I have flight only reservation as going to visit my boyfrinds parents who moved to Kenya about 30 years ago so not going to resort.

But thanks for your advice - much appreciated.

Hopefully I will be able to get one - how? not sure yet :)

Thanks again for all your help.

Have a nice day - it's friday :D

I'm off to Male on Sunday with My Travel and don't understand your quoted tip. Could you explain in normal speak for a rotary person please? :O
