Hi all,
I have tried the search function but could not yield any info.
Could anyone please give us some information of the type of engines/thrust ratings on the CX's fleet.
Thanks

not sure that other thread had everything you needed, here it is with current fleet numbers (i am 98% sure these are all correct):

3 A340-600 - RR Trent 500 - 56,000 lbs thrust
27 A330-300 - RR Trent 772 - 71,100 lbs thrust
12 B777-300 - RR Trent 895 - 95,000 lbs thrust
5 B777-200 - RR Trent 877 - 77,000 lbs thrust
15 A340-300 - CFM56-5C4 - 34,000 lbs thrust
6 B747-400F - RB211-524H - 60,600 lbs thrust
7 B747-200F - 4 with RB211-524D4 and 3 with CF6-50 - 53,000 lbs thrust
23 B747-400 - RB211-524H and 3 with PW4056 - 60,600 lbs thrust
3 B747-400BCF - RB211-524H and PW4056

777-300ER will have the GE90-115B - 115,000 lbs thrust
747-400ERF arriving in May 2008 will have the PW4062s, i would assume 60,600 lbs thrust on them as well

What type of engines are on those 777's parked around the place. Haven't seen that type before but they look to be really high bypass?

Spanners, how long will it be?

The CX 777-300's have Trent 892's that produce 92,000lbs thrust (Not 895's). Boeing website says 90,000 lbs. I think 777's after 2000 have the 895's, so possibility of the later deliveries having this newer model 895? Anyone care to confirm?

777's have various Trent 800 series engines. BA uses 895's.
