I just saw a picture of two former United B747-400s in Amsterdam repainted and soon to be operated by "Blue Sky" which is evidently a UK-based outfit. Anyone know much about this opeator? Routes? Any hiring? I am not familiar - it must have some good funding with at least two 747-400s coming on line....

Cheers

Hi Riker...According some recent Rumours, BlueSky Aviation will be the new British Division/Sister of French Eagle Aviation, that indeed ferried the 3 ex-United 744 to their shores some months ago...However something seemed to happen, and after that they registered them under a UK.CAA Reg. & AOC. And there is also another Rumour teeling about those 3 beautys (G-CEFD/E/F) start flying within a few days under the XLA banner...Well, let's wait and see...;)
Here is the link to CAA Reg. details »»»

Hope could help you in anything...
Kudos from Portugal...The Land of the Sun:)
