Have just started reading Michael Moore's book, "Stupid White Men", (bit late, but what else is new...) and discovered this gem in chapter three ;
"These pilots and the rest of the public, are being told that the economy isn't doing so well, that there's been a huge downturn, that profits are off, that the stock market has taken a beating..... nothing seems to be helping.....
.....And we've fallen for it.....
.....The rich are wallowing in the loot they've accumulated in the past two decades and now they want to make sure you don't come a-looking' for your piece of the pie.
The wealthy are doing everything they can to convince you that you'd better not be asking for your share, because - well, suddenly, there's not enough to go around !...."
And so it goes on...
Sound familiar ? Looks like that great American corporate work ethic that our very own Johnny and his mate Geoff, value so highly, is alive and well in down-under Oz.S of A !!!:=
