'Idiot' barb gets passenger detained
POSTED: 9:34 p.m. EDT, September 28, 2006

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A Wisconsin man who wrote "Kip Hawley is an Idiot" on a plastic bag containing toiletries said he was detained at an airport security checkpoint for about 25 minutes before authorities concluded the statement was not a threat.

Ryan Bird, 31, said he wrote the comment about Hawley -- head of the Transportation Security Administration -- as a political statement. He said he feels the TSA is imposing unreasonable rules on passengers while ignoring bigger threats.

The 'logic' is, of course, that anyone who would consider (and execute) such a comment is, presumably, of a mind to challenge authority.

Just as the UK Police have reported that major felons will treat simple rules and regulations with scorn and disdain. Catch a minor offender and maybe you've caught a serious criminal.

In addition, vehicle insurance companies include a question as to whether the applicant has effected ANY modification to the specification of the vehicle. Someone who will apply stick-on go-faster stripes may well be minded to drive as if the car had an increased-performance modification fitted, so their insurance premium is raised accordingly.

It's a question of a state of mind . . .

Mr Bird should have been suitably impressed that he got a TSA worker who was actually able to read his "threat".

It's a colgate palmolive gillette conspiracy. Just lost my shaving cream/toothpaste/deodorant. So had to buy new ones.
Just as SARS was a stock market scam sponsored by the WHO.
