I've been trying to find a video conferencing programme (cheap) that is compatible with my PC and my son's MAC. Just come across a free download from sightspeed. Works a treat, the screen can be re-sized (unlike AIM) and it works PC to MAC. just for info in case anyone else is struggling!

I've been using Skype to do that for a long time. Come to think of it ... does Skype video work from PC to Mac? Maybe none of those folks is a Mac user.

Keef - yeah, that was the main problem - it could be done afer a fashion with the paid version of Trillian, but no where near the quality of sightspeed.

I use Skype for video calls from my XP machine and it works fine for me.

Seems that Skype for Mac does do Video calls according to this FAQ (http://support.skype.com/index.php?_a=knowledgebase&_j=questiondetails&_i=832)?

Hadn't realised Skype had gone video PC to MAC. Will download it and see how it compares to sightspeed.
