Hello. Maybe someone can help. I'm looking for an Aircraft Flight Manual for a Jetstream 31...more from a Pilot's point of view. Have tried to Google up a source but without any joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering now......
What would a Flight Manual look like - from an engineers point of view?

It's that book in the cockpit that you have to show them how to use:ugh:

Try Here (http://store.pilotsmart.com/index.html)

Also these people have some British Aerospace materials: Essco (http://www.esscoaircraft.com) and available here (http://www.techmanualdepot.com) are Concorde manuals and more.

Hey thanks VAPILOT2004...that look like it might be the go. The only problem with some of these web based companies is they sometimes don't reply to email...and of course there is never a phone number that you can just pick up and call.

Are you sure you want the AFM?

Can't speak specifically to the J31 but most AFM are Limitations and Performance data with the minimum of procedures documented to meet certification requirements. The perf data is mostly single engine stuff.

Pilots at larger operators frequently never actually see the AFM. The Ops or Dispatch groups use it to more.

From an operating the ac point of view, pilots are apt to be much more interested in the QRH,AOM,and FCTM.
