Anyone know anything about MH141 a LHR-KL flight diverting from KL on Saturday 24th due Thunderstorms? It went to somewhere local and took four hours to refuel!

Believe it was Subang Airport (old international airport in KL).

2 MAS planes...1x 747 and 1x 330. Sitting on taxiways when we took off for india

Hope that helps

According to the newspapers, 4 aircraft diverted, 2 to SZB ( 1 747 from LHR and 1 A330 from PEN), 1 to SIN(!) (737 from KCH) and 1 to PEN (737 from KBR). The two 737 went back to KUL long before those from SZB did.

It is well known, at least to the 737 guys, that if you divert to SZB the ground support will be horrendous to say the least. Therefore you will not find many 737 willingly divert to SZB.

Thanks guys. Madam was less than amused, as she missed her connecting flight to Sydney. She had to wait nine hours for the next one!
