View Full Version : Music quiz 639

24th Sep 2006, 23:41
Evenin' (morning) all. After the last two quizzes by SSK and scran, I'm kinda embarrassed to post this easy one. :O

1...Questions are posted on Monday, scran time. Answers whenever I feel like it.

2...2 points for each lyrics question, one for the song title and one for the artist. SOTW/TOTW and trivia questions are normally worth a point apiece, but some questions may ask for additional information, worth extra points.

3...The clue in the lyrics section may be any line from the song or chorus.

4...The judge's decision is final. The responsability is enormous.

5...During the first 24 hours or until the first set of answers are posted, only one post, containing as many answers as you like, will be accepted. Additional posts will be ignored and edited posts will be disqualified. After 24 hours, or after the first set of answers are posted, there are no restrictions on posts (free for all).

Can't believe I got another chance at this one; can't believe I missed it the first time..
T12: It has to be What's Goin' On? (Hey man, what's happenin...)

And an early protest if the scoring gets tight; I got the Tony Christie song before Mr Lexx (sorry!) but in all the rush I put the wrong question number. :{

Don't know any of those lyrics still open; tough one piggy. As for SOTW, is listening to it the same as googling? :confused:

T12 correct.

I would have given you the point for Yellow River if nobody else had answered correctly - I had you down for it in the running score actually, but then Mr. Lexx got both answer and number correct, so....:O

Listening definitely ain't the same as googoo, at least in my book. If someone wants to listen to music that happens to be in the quiz, I shall not say nay! :ok:

26th Sep 2006, 03:11

As the other quiz meister, I would agree that listening to a song of the week is quite acceptable.................................

Now, if Piggy or I used a song like Lyric 7 for Song of the Week, that would grounds for you guys to have us committed!!!11 :eek: :E :ok: :ok: :ugh:
