View Full Version : Strange personal messages?

23rd Sep 2006, 01:06
Anybody else get any, er, rather strange very political PMs today? (In very poor English.)

Not going to name name's as of yet.

Just want to see if I'm the only lucky one.:suspect:

Not from any known Ppruner I that I have ever heard of, up to today.

Don't send any money - just your bank account details.
Worked for me! :ok:

23rd Sep 2006, 01:10
Oh that's okay, it was the first thing I did!:p

Included all four accounts just in case.:E

No the person in question wanted to know why I (Who, little old me?) allowed the Falkland War, among other things.

Actually, I got a reeeeeeally weird one. It said I should vote Republican

(To tell the truth I go both ways, but don't tell anyone.;) )

(I'm talking about political parties thank you very much, get your mind out of the gutter.:p)

I should be a Republican, but I don't really think the Republicans are Republicans, if that makes any sense.

The Democrats seem to be ... well disarray would be a polite word I suppose.

However, one of the problems I see with a two pary system is that if you're not for one, then you must be for the other, which is probably rarely the case in real life.

not that any more parties would help any :(

..sorry, been drinkin' :}

Confess Con! Why DID you start the Falklands war??? We deserve to be told.

23rd Sep 2006, 16:11
Okay, okay, I had the weekend off and was bored.:E

Mrs. Con wanted a new vacation (holiday) island to visit.

(I really thought the place would be a lot warmer being that far south.:p )

I suggested the Falkland Islands to the trouble'n'strife, too, but she wouldn't go for it.
Must have realised I wasn't planning on going with her...

Some years ago, my (older) brother averred that he allowed his wife to make the less-important decisions such as whether they woukld have any more children or move house, whilst HE concentrated on the more important matters such as "whether the Americans should pull out of Vietnam" (that dates it of course, but as an aside, don't the Yanks (and now the Bliars) EVER learn?).

As far as the Falklands 'War' was concerned (it was just a CONFLICT FFS!) there are far greater suspects around (on PPRuNe) than Con Pilot, to name but Jerricho for a start!

The one i got said "F-off, you [email protected]":(

I didn't have the heart to reply..

23rd Sep 2006, 20:11
You were probably too busy complying, perchance.

23rd Sep 2006, 20:15
Absolutely not.. ;)

Just logged on to Proon and noticed this thread first and foremost. Read it and replied..

Wonder if anyone could post their PM received [on here] and then we can discuss who the sad fecker was/is?:8

The one i got said "F-off, you [email protected]"

...clearly from someone with a higher brain function than mere mortals, I'm thinking of a business professional, excellent ability to use the English language like a Rapier, probably exceptionally handsome, and no delusions of grandeur whatsoever, very well-balanced personality. Wait a minute- It could even be a Pilot!

23rd Sep 2006, 22:18
naah mate, it was me.

gorgeous spotter

24th Sep 2006, 04:00
That's because you aren't as 'big' as Colmac :E (so I've heard)

24th Sep 2006, 17:09
That is perfectly alright tome 16 I will be happy to provide the link you posted to me via a PM.

I really wish I knew what I did to this person to become the subject of these attacks.:ooh:

(I've jumped from starting the Falkland War to running torture schools now, my I do get around a lot.:p )

(You think I should add this to my CV? ;) )
