Williamtown twin training

Are there any flight schools in williamtown newcastle that do ME training? I looked at Hunter valley aviation in cessnock, there rates are good at $331 dual/hr for a twin comanche however i will be needing it for IR training which requires ILS's etc. Now thats a 30min flight away just for an ILS!!

Does richmond and williamtown charge fees to turn the ILS ON??

Any recommendation for CHEAP twin training located NEAR an ILS in NSW??

I would recommend Country Capital Flight Center in Tamworth - they operate a C310 and Never-go and a very nice blue chieftain :}

There is an ILS right there at TW. Go for it! :ok:

country capital flight centre is certainly an option. I have looked at them there rates for the twin commanche are $50 per hr more then Hunter in cessnock plus the ILS FEE of $55 plus landing fees. This all adds up!!

I don't think richmond or williamtown charge fees for there ILS?? anyone know??

you will not be charged for ILSs at willy or richmond

Have you tried Avondale College School of Aviation? They are at Cessnock but have a Duchess which would be cheaper. With the ILS being on RWY 12 at Willy it would hardly be a half hour flight to get there - more like less than half that especially if you do a direct, arc, or vectored entry rather than tracking overhead first. :cool:

There is one flying school that offers twin training at Willytown- it is called
2OCU. You might find the hourly rate a bit rich........

anyone know anything about pacific coast aviation in bankstwon? So far they have the cheapest twin out there. A duchess at $300 hr/dual. with richmond close by that could be a good bet!

Try Royal Newcastle Aero Club at Maitland, only a hop skip and jump by air from Willy. They also have a website.
