J* has just announced a $5 million dollar sponsorship deal with the new Rugby League team on the Gold Coast.The new team is reportedly called the J* Titans....Not bad when they made $10 million profit last year...

Did any of the money come from other sources...like another Australian airline

A SHORT TITANS HISTORY:

* Offers three year contractual deals

* Contractual disputes with in form current "Storm" winger Turner.

* Offers career opportunities for other NRL players

* Matt Rogers signs a contract & takes more than a 50 % paycut.

Sounds A LITTLE TOO familiar!

They're hardly bad observations of a new business trying to grow itself.

I don't think the Titans really understand.

Coaches/trainers will cost players $100 per session.

Oranges and gatorade during the game: $5 each.

Towels after the showers: $7

Stretcher if inured: $50 callout regardless if used

Jetstar are also looking at other options to ensure the user (player) pays:

Perhaps the Jetstar Titans could sell players a "comfort pack"

Contents include:

Breathalyser: Don't want to arrive at training pi$$ed
Alibi Card: Tips on how to get out of a sexual misconduct accusation
Knuckle Dusters: If you are going to hit a woman, you have to make it hurt
100% Guaranteed clean urine sample: If only Wendell had one of these

All for $35 + GST

Very Good Murgatroid!!

Known as the 'SHEDS' here on the Gold Coast! :}

Used to support Seagulls and then the others that followed until it finally all went to peices, so I 'adopted' the Broncos.

I would find it too difficult to support a Gold Coast team and the money thrown at it after watching previous teams go before it. When roads, water and hospitals are of an acceptable level, only then should any state / local money be used to help set them up.:rolleyes: :ugh: :ugh:

OK ok I'll support them whenever they play a team from NSW:E
