Hi all.
Another question on ATP's!!
I'm currently studying for my ATP's here in NZ.
Just wondering if i go to oz... which is a high probability, what is involved in converting NZ ATP in to oz ATP??
Would i need to do a flight test?

Any associated websites would be appreciated.

Thanks
Fants.

Have a look under the "trans Tasman Mutual recognition act". It is linked both through the CASA site and the CAA site.

If you held the NZ ATPL licence it would be a straight swap. Very easy.

Your NZ exam credits would not be recognised if you only held them and not the actual licence. I think it would be easier to transfer your NZ CPL and then do the aussie exams and get the ATPL that way - no flight test.

Your choice but you will not be able to transfer your NZ exams if you only did them and not obtained the NZ licence.

All the best...

Thanks for the info.
Thought it would work something like that.
