Medical Exam

Hi all,
Hoping to become an airline pilot but i have a question regarding the medical exam. Last Xmas i had a seizure in my sleep. I was take to hospital and the tested me for epilepsy and diabeties. The results were good saying I didn't have either of them. The hospital diagnosed this as a one off incident and they could not find anything wrong. Would this hinder me in anyway when it comes to the medical?

From your description it is not clear what exactly the 'seizure' was.

Normally the term 'seizure' is used for 'epileptic fits'

You write that the hospital did not think it was related to epilepsy which leaves the question what it was then.

Epilepsy means a bar for flying, certainly in the UK.

The FAA allows people to fly who have had fits before but are fit free for 10 years providing they are off medication.
