I've been researching the ANA / ANK B737 contract and I was informed that the flying is in country and a temporary non personal resident visa is aquired. Their is Japanese tax liability associated with this. Around 20-30% I was informed. Also the location is Haneda and apartments can be around $2,000.usd for an acceptable residence.
I am interested in the B767 Japan contracts and I think the tax liability would be quite different. Can anyone share some experience as to taxes and cost of living.
