Scheduled flights; UK - Cagliari, Sardinia.

A friend is looking to buy a villa in the Cagliari area. The only UK - Cagliari flights are BA (LHR) and Easyjet (LTN) which doesn’t operate in winter. Ryanair fly from Stansted to Alghero all year round, another part of Sardinia and impractical to drive to Cagliari area. Does anyone know which UK-Sardinia routes are in the pipeline, or which routes are likely to be cancelled? Thanks.

Thomas Cook & Airtours holidays are starting weekly charter flights to Sardinia for next summers, i think they will be operating from LGW & MAN.
They will offer these for seat only too.

Ryanair are to start Liverpool to Alghero on 3 Oct, 3 times weekly, on Mon, Fri and Sun. Not good for Cagliari though, Hope this is of help.:ok:
