Need help from someone with a paypal account

Hi all,

I'm about to join Balpa as an associate member (ie outside UK) but the only way to pay the annual subscription is with a regular cheque or a direct debit on my bank account.

As I have no UK bank account, the fees charged for that by my "euro" bank are just huge (and it's just £24.00!) :sad:

I was thinking about sending money via paypal to someone in the UK who will then send me a cheque I can use to pay Balpa.

Just got a letter from the tax man allowing my BALPA sub as an allowance - now before you rotorheads from enlightened countries say 'so what?' - those of us in UK will appreciate that it's a major concession from the Ministry of Misery
