Hi folks,

As a flying enthusiast and bit of a spotter, my girlfriend kindly got me a solo hour in the 727 simulator at Bournemouth.

Has anyone been before and care to share their experiences ?

Also the trip down looks like a good excuse for another flight, seen as Ryanair fly from PIK , but the drive takes 8-9 hours :ok:

Have a great day EDI !

I did not realise that the 727 sim was so reasonably priced, i had always wanted to have ago, but was put off by the short times and high prices shown on the larger boeing sims.

When are you going, would be good to here how you got on.

A solo hour in the 727 sim hey! You will no doubt have a co-pilot. I've been down there a couple of times for sim practice with a guy called Mike Boulton. You'll have a great time and the motion makes the whole thing come to life! :ok:

I have done a session on the old Dan Air 727 Sim and can tall you that it will focus your attention a bit. The graphics weren't too good 15 years ago on that sim, but even if the Bournemouth one is the same, it could still make your butt pucker a bit.

A brilliant Bidet present and a memory you will treasure, I am sure.
