I'm 35, have the means to train up and have experienced flying through various contacts, muster/ LL Flying/ and freight jobs. I'm aware that I'll have to live off the skin of my teeth should I wish to go CPL, and would like some feedback. I would like to fly freight, survey or anything else that others are either not willing to pick up or not in a position to pick up.
The burning question: Am I too old to start a new career?

Gosh ...didnt we just have one of these...:uhoh:

I think the general concensus is yer never to old to attempt anything ...just because you are older will probably not prevent you from doing something that is terminally dumb.

:ugh:

Basically, you're only too old if YOU think you are, IMHO.

At 35 you are probably going to be much more stable and reliable then the younger pilots who are only transient, and do not really have an interest in GA.
