Just completed my last ATC duty today prior to full time flying job.
Just like to thank all of the Guys and Gals at EGPF (5 years), LHR (22 years), and BHX (3 years) that had to put up with me......You all did very well!!!!
I'll miss you (a bit I think!!??)

All the very best for the future and I hope the flying job works out well for you (who are you flying with now??).

Don't forget to stay in touch...... This new fangled email thingy is rather good at that :)

Thanks for all the messages and (many!) PMs.....
I was amazed at who came out of the "woodwork" to wish me Good Riddance!!
Many many happy memories, thanks guys.

Jez.

Some of the best quotes I ever heard at Heathrow came from the mouth of Cookey...

(During a typically manic early morning session on GMC 2)
"Hey supervisor, pass me a fresh boy will you, this one's split!"

(To an Air Canada pilot who was a bit unsure of his position after vacating the runway)
"OK, come on, get your map out."

(To a private jet whose command of English wasn't quite to Jez's high standards)
Jez : "(Callsign) Cleared for take off 27R, surface wind XXX/XX"
AC : "Confirm, clear to take off?"
Jez : "(Callsign) Oh just go, will you?!!!"

(Sitting next to me in GMC)
"Dear God, I can't believe I'm working with someone who went to a comprehensive school!"

Look after yourself old bean, give my love to the Windsors, whot!

.....and one of my Jezza favourites:
"Air Maroc (number), is there any truth in the rumour that you are going to push back?"
Cheers Old Boy......
