Slok Air operate 6 B737-200
But since few month we saw them rarely at DKR (dakar) airport.
And always with the same aircraft C5-NYA.
They operates flights from
DKR BJL FNA ACC LOS
or
DKR CKY ABJ

Thats all the information i have but it seem that this airline is very very unsafe...

Thanks for the info FSB.

I flew with them ACC-FNA in late 2004. Before doing so, I asked the collective wisdom of pprune for their viewpoint on this airline and the consensus was that it was OK. But then the consensus (not just from pprune) also was that the old Bellview was OK.

This SLF believes your version. But looking at your profile, I see that you are also down the back. What is the source of your information?

Sorry if my english is not perfect but i understand quitly the two last posts!
If you can please re write them in a simple english! Thank you

I used to work fo Air Senegal International as trafic and operation officer.
And Slok Air has been leased from Air Senegal, as they have one A/C for a technical check in morocco.

The flight was operated with crew and aircraft from slok air.
And one commercial crew from Air Senegal (usualy used for french and senegalese langage)
The flight was V7952 (i think) from DKR to CMN (GOOY/GMMN) app. 3 hours of flight
10 minutes before departure while i was chating with the hostess she asked me where they are going!? and how was the weather...
Few minutes after, i asked the captain if they need anything else he said no but if maybe we can have the charts!
i was :ugh:
ok captain im going to bring you the charts
what about the high/low jeppesen charts ?
He said ok good !
Then when i come to the cockpit with the chart i asked him:
I think you wil need SID/STAR for this airport and the alternate?
HE said: yes why not............
Finaly it was too late and the flight went without the approach charts.......

Another story of a colleague:
Before bringing the loadsheet to the aircraft he advise the captain that they are 2 tonnes over the MTOW and they have to offload cargo and mail.
Captain replied no lets go its ok !
My colleague bring the loadsheet and the captain signed it but not my colleague....

What else do you need to show you that this airline is unsafe ???
By the way my family traveled on it from DKR to FNA as it was the only airline.....:\

PS: what does "down the back"mean?
