View Full Version : Air Force game

The other day I got the following email with the attached link.

The object of the game is to move the red block around
without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls.
If you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal.
I was told that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots.
They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes. Give it a try!!

After a couple practice runs I got to 25.256 sec. I doubt though that anyone can last 2 min.

After a few practices I managed to survive for 21 seconds. The movement of the blocks appears not to be random so extended practice should lead to an improvement. If the increase in speed is relative all the way through I can't imagine anyone lasting for 2 minutes

New record for me 32.26. It keeps getting faster. The last some seconds were pure luck.

How adictive is that game!? I lasted 30 secs after a few attempts, then realised my finger was hurting :{ and it wasn't helping getting my CV done!:ugh:

Thanks for posting the game, will try again later to beat my score, if I finish my CV :D :D :D :D

I'm up to 34 seconds now. Have had quite a bit of free time this afternoon:)

I notice the fighter pilots on this forum are keeping extremely quiet...

Done, and more some: 20.129 seconds...and I've got the screen print to prove it!

Scroll up, and you'll see how long it took me to do that.

Never underestimate somebody with Asperger Syndrome...especially if they have eyes. :ok:

Wow! Gets rather fast after 6 minutes.

8 Minutes - is that good?

Although if you want a better test than that, try the Hydra on GTA San Andreas, or if you don't have an x-box, you can still try this:

I suppose it would be easier if I had a mouse instead of having to use the cursor keys?

the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots.
They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes.
But they have to be able to write their name as well (otherwise they'd never get paid).

2 hours, 35 minutes and 35...36...37...38...
