“Minks are mean little critters. Vicious, horrible little animals who eat their own. They’re not beavers. I wouldn’t wear beavers. I’d rather have a mink coat made of mean little critters that are killed in a very nice way and treated nicely for their short, mean lives so that I could keep warm.”
- Valerie Perrine

Sounds like a Draper woman. :uhoh:

Unless this is a wind-up, this sounds like a post from a sad, selfish,
cow who needs skinning!! :=

She's right tho, mink are 'orrible little critters!

I'm not saying they deserve to be skinned for their fur, but where so called "animal rights" activists have released them from farms in the UK, where they are not native, they have devastated large swathes of natural wildlife!

I can assure you if I see one I have no qualms about putting it out of its misery, in a very humane and efficient way of course (usually with 17.5 grains of lead at 450fps!).

Sheesh, is there ANYTHING that hasn't been discussed on this forum? :}

Still stand by the "shoot on sight" policy, I've seen too many water-fowl and other native critters ripped to shreds and then left, not even an attempt to eat them!

Valerie Perrine became the first woman to display (on purpose) her nipple's on American network television during the May 4, 1973 broadcast of Bruce Jay Friedman's play "Steambath" shown on Hollywood Television Theater (PBS). The story offered an unusual portrayal of the afterlife with God presented as a Puerto Rican steambath attendant. Bill Bixby played a man who refused to admit that he had died. Valerie Perrine was seen taking a shower from all sides. Only a few PBS stations were adventurous enough to carry the program.

Met the Village People once on business, a relatively informal occasion. They spent some time bagging her stretch marks. Still enjoy Slaughterhouse 5 but.

ISTR seeing a clip of a mink being humanely euthanised - they shoved an electrode up its backside and eelctrocuted it - judging by its contortions I would say it did not die peacefully in its sleep .......

'twas a canadian mink, I fink.... so I guess the alternative is a baseball bat, but the crushed skull effect is not so aesthetically pleasing when draped around the neck.....
