Paraguayan Bottle Dance

Folklorama has come to Winnipeg yet again. A celebration of cultures from around the world (no Aussie pavillion obviously) for 2 weeks.

Now, we decided to visit the Paraguayan Pavillion last night. Why not? I knew little about this landlocked country in South America, so off we went.

Ok. Hands up who has ever seen a lady dance with 12 wine bottles on her head (and no, I don't mean a lady who has consumed 12 bottles of grog and starts dancing around on tables and stuff). This chick actually had 12 bottles stacked on her head and was gracefully dancing around. I mean, how the hell does somebody

a) Discover they have this talent?
b) Decide this is something they have to try?
c) Talk friends into trying it as well?

We got kicked out of the Swedish pavillion coz I got a little pissed up and kept carrying on with my Swedish Chef impersonation. "Chicken in the basket" is only funy the first 10 times, I've just found out.
