Overpaid Pilots - overpaid CEO's??

Recently some high level executives from the company I work for (Qantas) have stated in Australian media that we as Qantas pilots are overpaid. Relative to who they did not state, but we can only assume they were comparing us to other pilots in similar airlines worldwide.

Our Chief Executive Officer recieved approximately $6 million AUD (or just over $4.5 million US) last year.

Request - How much does the CEO of the airline you work for earn per year??

Like comparing apples and oranges. Why aren't more pilots getting into Management ranks if it is so rosy out there.
