ACMI Market: What is the future?

Just wonder if there is an increasing market for ACMI services. Providers like Atlas, Air Atlanta etc. are making good business by offering their capacities to airlines.

What do you think will be the future? Is ACMI still an opportunity for airlines to fill short term capacity gaps or to test new routes?

As long as airlines don't have the cash for new airplanes & crew training, and/or there are airlines that bid contracts beyond their capacity, and/or "high-cost" airlines bid low prices to enter a market, there will be a need for ACMI.
