An old friend of mine was a B17 Belly Turret gunner in WWII, based at Deopham Green in Norfolk. He's very much alive and well, living in Wisconsin.

His daughter is looking for information/photos/details etc that might help with some research on behalf of her father, in particular any photos of B17's at the field. Any knowledge or help would be appreciated.

A google image search for "Deopham Green" brought up some pictures of the airfield etc, give it a try.

Probably be censored but 'Airfields of the Eighth' from After The Battle has good coverage.

It does but the only period photo shows a P47 - not a B17 in sight.
