Best scams are the ones where they keep as many facts straight as possible. In this case, the Parish and Priest (http://www.stgeorge.rcec.london.on.ca/father_john_message.html) are true, they´ve just changed the postal address. 22 George Street is St James Parish (http://www.spanishplace.hemscott.net/), and its not Parish Place, its Spanish Place.

Still, a better try than most. The pidgen English is always a bit of a give away though....

Also check this guy's site - he's been persistently taking the royal michael out of these people for quite some time, using the name Gilbert Murray of Gypping in the Marsh and changing profession with each scamster - priest, clairvoyant, worm farmer etc. Each exchange of correspondence is listed.

Since WHEN has it been usual to place a full-stop after 'Sir'?
(OK, wiseguys, I mean in the MIDDLE of a sentence and in association with the name of the 'honoured'?)
