Saw an MEA A330inYUL (MONTREAL) this morning at a gate looking like it was getting ready to fly somewhere....I figured the airline was grounded by the war.
Anybody know what it's doing in Canada?

Saw 2 x A330 MEA in Sydney on 23 July, they were specially chartered by Aust govt to evacuate Australian citizen from middle east crisis. I guess same scenario in YUL.

I was wondering the same. Saw an MEA A-321 in Dubai in the boondock stands (T-series stands).

Is the airline grounded or have they relocated to another base as I've been told Kuwait Airways did during Gulf War I? Does anyone know how many of their fleet are grounded in Beirut?

I just wonder how dreadful it must be to try to concentrate on flying while your home is being destroyed and your family is still stuck there...

Did MEA get it's crews out of BEY and are they all regrouped somewhere outside of Lebanon?

I would imagine that despite the horrible situation, most Lebanese crews would prefer to stay in their home country, alongside their families. I know I would.
