What's new in the world of entertainment? One is always keeping a weather eye out for quality bands, movies etc & this week, one has chanced across an American outfit entirely indebted to James Brown & what's wrong with that?? If you like tight funky grooving, then this is for you.

I have, I should state, absolutely no connection whatsoever to these boys, save for I quite like the music. So, what's boiling your pot right now? Let's broaden those horizons!!

I have been enjoying these guys lately. Jack White from the White Stripes is the lead singer for them. Very good if you like that sort of thing - which I do.

Singer, songwriter, Josh Ritter:

The Subdudes:

Many others.

And why not try...

NON-commercial, NON-predigested, NON-corporate, NON-profit, listener-supported, listener-centric, eclectic radio that you can listen to on-line from anywhere in the world?

I know this sounds a bit like an advertisement, but I'm enthusiastic about sharing the idea that every minute of every day doesn't have to be filled with the hustle and jive of people trying to sell us stuff... and on top of that the tunes are groovy. Enjoy!
