Hi I was wondering if anyone can advise on the Weight vs. Height in the recruitment process for cabin Crew.

I am not really fat or really thin i would say just avergae but I am not sure how the airlines decide if you are over weight or not?

If anyone has an idea of what scale most airlines use or has a chart or any inside info please let me know? I’ve been on airlines with crew larger then myself but were these crew thin when they applied?

Thanks

You sure it's 120kg? Seems quite high. With most airlines if you're able to get down the aisle and fit in your jumpseat that's fine. Some airlines are a bit stricter and go by the BMI scale. In that case, at 6" and 120kg you'd be classed as obese. It's a flawed system though, in my opinion.

Does seem high. I'm about 6'1'' and just scrape the 100kg mark on the bathroom scales - and I'm a chunky fellow.
