spooler problems

Hi all,
I am having major problems with an error message that says:
SPOOLER SUBSYSTEM APP
and everything is running really slowly and most progs are (Not Responding) and loading error messages willy nilly!!!:ugh:

Any advice?

You could try this:

Stop 'print spooler' under services if it is running
access c:windows/system32/spool/printers
remove any .shd or .spl files
restart spooler service

If it doesn't work try Google.
