Hello mates,
Having trouble finding the following info. for my upcoming CX interview. Was wondering if anyone can help?
1. I can't find CX future orders.
2. I can't find any of CX's annual reports.

And yes, I did try the CX website...three times.

3. Cannot find info. on the heavies and their specific info. and how they differ from one another.
EX: How does a A343 differ from an A346? What is the fuel transfer order on a B777? What engines are on the A330? etc. etc.
If anyone can help out by PMing me or reply to this post, it would be greatly appreciated. :ugh:

I think the 346 is longer than 343

Try this:
Annual Report (http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_INTL/aboutus/pressroomdetails?refID=e8b48a88c00ba010VgnVCM22000022d21c39_ ___)
and
Cathay Pacific (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathay_Pacific)
A343:
4 Overwing exits, Full engine cowling (CFM56-5), Single bogey main centre undercarraige, Registration B-HX_
A346:
5 Overwing exits, Half engine cowling (Trent 500), Double bogey main centre undercarraige, Registration B-HQ_

I can't believe people have trouble telling the difference between A343s and A346s. It seems so obvious. Can't you tell the difference between a 737-200 and a 737-400??

Sorry for blowing up but I've heard that question on this website too many times. All you need to do is go to any aviation photo database site and type A340-300 and A340-600. Look at the pictures side by side and you would know in half a second the difference between the two aircraft.

It really isn't rocket science. :ugh:

Maybe this will also be a silly question, but how do I differentiate between the B777-200 and -300ER? I know the -300 is longer, but they both have Trent 892s.

Hello,

Yes, CX's 777-200s and 777-300s are both using RR Trent 892, but -200s have 84000lbs thrust and -300s have 92000lbs thrust.

For the difference between -200s and -300ER:

1)-300s have longer fuselage than -200s, but the same with -300ER
2)-300s and -300ER both have 5 emergency door on each side but -200s only have 4
3)Engine! -200 and -300 both Trent 892, but -300ER use GE 90-115B which provides 115,300lbs thrust
4)Range.. -200 5120nm (not sure...) whilst -300ER 7880nm
5)Also, -300ER has new gear, extra tank

I think there is more... :8
