Interesting article in business section of The Times today about James McNerney, chief executive of Boeing, complete with his answers to ten questions called "The leader in ten questions".

I thought it might be fun to post the questions and see what answers Ppruners could come up with:-

1. Who is or was your mentor?

2. Which businessman or woman do you most admire?

3. Do you read books on management? If so, which has influenced you the most?

4. Which is more important: what you know or who you know, and why?

5. What does leadership mean to you?

6. If you could change one thing about the business, financial and commercial environment, what would it be?

7. What is the most important business event, good or bad, to occur in your working life?

8. Does money motivate you?

9. What gadget/piece of technology can you not do without?

10. How do you relax?

By now I would have thought that you wouldn't put the bait down so obviously for Colmac to dive on. He was quick.

But then - just maybe - as we say in Oz - come in spinner
