There's been a Virgin Atlantic liveried TWIN - I think it's an A320-ish rather than a A330, but I've never got a good look at it - parked on the S. side of Montreal's Trudeau airport at one of the bizjet facilities since the Grand Prix a couple of weeks ago. (It was surrounded by a small horde of (mianly) GIVs and GVs for a while, but they've all gone now).

Anyone got any idea what it's doing there - and if its really a single-aisle Airbus, how come? I thought Virgin only used A340s and B747s.

(The winglets seem to have small US flags on them, rather than the Union Jacks I thought Virgin routinely used, or the "flying lady")

I guess I saw what I expected to see - thanks, I think that must be it.

Odd that it's been parked for 4 weeks, though.

Looks more like a 319,A320 has 2 exits over the doors.

well, on the same line a Virgin Atlantic 764 was delivered to LHR (reg: G-VFIZ) on 19 July. Haven't seen a pic of it yet, though.

Virgin Nigeria also using 320-series and Virgin Blue & Virgin Pacific using 738s.

Also VS ran services to Greece a few years ago using a 320 or 321 painted a ghastly yellow ('Virgin Sun' titles or some such).

They are waiting on approval from the FAA to start the operation; hense why it's sitting in Canada. From what I have heard, the pay is horrible and will do nothing but further hurt the horrid state of commercial aviation in the USA.

Wasn't Virgin Sun a charter company? There was 2 A320's in regular Virgin Atlantic colours operating to ATH.
