Casting about for likely jobs - do Bristows still operate DHC-6s in Nigeria and if so what's the pay like? Do they still do 3 on 3 off or similar? The new corporate structure seems radically different - is it gloss or are they genuinely US led and directed now.

BS.

Bert,
Sadly, there are very few Twotters still operated by anyone in Nigeria. ACN still operate NNPCs Twotter, 5N-AVG and Mobil Aviation still have a Twotter operating mostly between Bonny and Eket, but that's about it. CHC operates a couple of DH6s in Tchad and Cameroun. Bristow pilots in Nigeria mostly run on a 7/5 roster and Nigeria is mostly still run by the same sad bunch of ex-Redhill expats, though 'Danny' is an American put there as a figurehead by the new masters. Pan African, which is owned and operated by OLOG/Bristow operates a couple of Caravans on floats mostly between Leki and Escravos. Not sure what roster they're touring on. Best bet is probably to contact Paul Weddick or maybe 'Chuks' can enlighten you further.
